At Lynch Hill Enterprise Academy, Health and Social Care is important because:
- This course gives an insight to anyone wanting to work in the health and social care sector, which is the fastest growing sector
- This course mixes practical, hands on activities as well as theory
Curriculum
Our curriculum is designed to:
- Instil knowledge and understanding of different elements people need to work in the health and social care sector
- Link elements to the outside world and real life so students can understand what happens in their life and why
In Health and Social care, we deliver the curriculum through:
- A mix of theory and practical activities
- Documentaries to link theory to real life
- Practice questions
BTEC Qualification Assessment
- A written paper out of 60 (40%)
