End of Day Arrangements- From Mr Chris Thomas, Headteacher
I am pleased to say that there are increasing numbers of students taking part in after-school activities now; so it is worthwhile clarifying the procedures for this.
A bell will now ring at 3.15pm every day. This is to indicate the time by which students should either have left the building or be in a supervised activity. Students will not be able to re-enter the building after this time so should not be visiting shops to buy food before returning to school. I am afraid that it is also not possible for students to be supervised in school outside of such activities so students will be expected to wait for collection outside the building if alternative arrangements cannot be made.
GCSE Results Press Release 2019
22nd August 2019
We are delighted with our first set of GCSE results at Lynch Hill Enterprise Academy. This first cohort of students have performed remarkably well, a testament to the belief shown in them and commitment by them.
Students performed strongly across both English and Maths. There were also impressive grades achieved in Science and French with an overall 60% of students achieving five or more qualifications at a grade 4 or higher. We are also very pleased that our first set of results achieved an overall pass rate of 65%. These students have set a strong baseline for those who follow.
We are delighted by the effort that our students have made and the determination from our fantastic staff to ensure that the students maximised their potential. Many will now move on to Sixth Form studies at other schools within Slough.
This is a splendid start to the academic outcomes of Lynch Hill Enterprise Academy and the entire school community should feel very proud.
