Lynch Hill strives to educate pupils about healthy eating during their school years and beyond, and to provide a variety of cultural and healthy options. Hot meals, snacks and other options continue to be available during break and lunch times, as well as free school meals for relevant students.
Students have access to grassy fields at break time.
Lunch break is 1.20-1.45
Meal without a drink - £2.00
Meal with a drink (water) - £2.50
The money for the meals has to be paid for IN ADVANCE
The students need to have their meal choices in by each Wednesday for the following week, AND BRING IN THEIR MONEY.
Week 2 and week 3 choices have to be in by 14th and 21st respectively
Monday - Chilli with Rice, Cheese & Spring Onion, Pasta Baked Beans & Sweetcorn, Cherry & Coconut Flapjack
Tuesday - Roast Topside of Beef with Yorkshire Pudding & Roast Potatoes, Jacket Potato with Baked Beans or Cheese Broccoli Florets & Sliced Carrots, Lemon Sponge
Wednesday - Creamy Chicken Korma with Rice, Pasta Bolognaise, Green Beans & Red Cabbage, Mandarin & Orange Jelly
Thursday - Southern Style Chicken with Potato Salad, Jacket Potato with Various Fillings Coleslaw & Mini Corn on the Cob, Rhubarb & Ginger Cake with Custard
Friday - Battered White Fish, Pasta in Tomato & Herb Sauce, Peas & Baked Beans, Pear & Berry Rice
Free School Meals
If you are receiving any of the following, your child will be entitled to free school meals:
Income Based Jobseeker Allowance
Support under part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
Child Tax Credit (provided you do ¬not receive Working Tax Credit and have an annual income that does not exceed the maximum limit at the time, please contact the school office for the current limit).
The Guarantee element of State Pension Credit
You will need to complete a Free School Meal Form. Forms are available from the school office. Please return your completed form to the school as soon as possible. Free school meals cannot be provided until the school has received the form. You no longer need to provide proof of your eligibility for free school meals to the school, eligibility is now verified through Slough Borough Council.
You must advise the school if there are any changes to the information you have provided on the form.
